Unlock PDF removes the password from a document you can already open — using the password you type — and saves it again with no encryption on it.
This removes a password from a document you can already open, by opening it with the password you type and writing it out again without one. It is for the file you protected last year and now have to email to someone, or the bank statement that arrives encrypted every month and has to be filed.
It does not guess, crack or work around anything. Without the right password nothing can be read, and no tool that runs in your browser is going to change that.
The result is a plain PDF with the same pages and the same content. The readout says what the encryption was before you start, so you can see what you are removing.
