About Text to PDF
Text to PDF turns a plain text file, or text you paste straight in, into a PDF: paragraphs flow and wrap to the page, while indented and column-aligned lines keep their spacing.
Plain text is easy to convert badly. Paragraphs should flow and wrap to the measure, but a table drawn with spaces, an indented block of code or a log file lined up in columns must keep its spacing or it turns to nonsense. This tool tells the two apart: ordinary paragraphs reflow, while indented or column-aligned lines are kept exactly as they were, in a face where every character is the same width.
Page size, orientation, margins, text size and the choice between a sans and a serif face are the whole of the setup. The defaults produce something that reads like a document rather than like a terminal.
The paste box takes text straight from the clipboard, so a long message or a block of notes can become a PDF without ever being a file.
