Merge PDFs: Drop your files hereTakes several PDFs. Nothing is uploaded — the file is read in this tab.
How it works
  1. Drag it in, choose it, or paste it. It is read here in the tab and never uploaded.
  2. The settings column holds 1 control for this tool. The defaults suit most files.
  3. “Merge PDFs” works on your device, then Original and Result sit side by side with a download.

About Merge PDF

Merge PDF combines two or more PDF files into a single document. You set the order in the queue, every page of every file is copied across in that order, and one PDF comes out.

Merging is the one operation where the order is the whole job. Files arrive in a queue you can drag, so the sequence you see before pressing the button is the sequence the pages come out in — every page of the first file, then every page of the second, and so on. Nothing is dropped and nothing is resampled: the pages are copied across as they are, at their own sizes, so a portrait report and a landscape appendix stay portrait and landscape rather than being squashed onto a common sheet.

What a merge cannot carry is the machinery around the pages. Form fields, bookmarks and the links that point between pages belong to the document they were written in, and a page copied out of one document and into another leaves them behind. If the fields matter, fill them in or flatten them before merging rather than after.

A PDF with a password cannot be merged, because its pages cannot be read until it is opened. Unlock it first, then bring it back — the tool says which file in the queue is the problem rather than failing on the whole set.
