About Collage

Collage puts several pictures into one — a grid, a row or a column — in the order you arrange them, with spacing, rounded corners and a background color you choose.

A grid gives every picture the same square cell, as close to as many columns as rows as the count allows, and crops each picture from its middle to fill its cell; a short last row is centered. A row or a column crops nothing: every picture keeps its own shape and is scaled to the row’s height or the column’s width, so the collage takes whatever length they add up to.

Size is the grid’s or the column’s width, or the row’s height. 1080 px suits a post, 2048 px a screen, 4096 px a print. A browser cannot draw a canvas past about sixteen thousand pixels on a side, so a long row of many tall pictures is made smaller to fit, and the result says so.

Drag the tiles to change the order before you make it. For a document instead of a picture, Images to PDF puts them on pages, one each.
