Signing a document without printing it

Printing a page to sign it and scanning it back takes ten minutes and gives you a crooked, grey copy. A signature made in the browser lands on the original page, sharp, and the file stays on your device.
Draw it or type it
A drawn signature looks like yours. A finger on a phone or tablet is easiest, and a trackpad works if you go slowly. Typing your name and picking a typeface is quicker. Check what the other side asks for, because some agreements want a drawn signature.
The three steps
1Open Sign and pick the PDFThe pages appear as a grid. Nothing uploads; the file is read in the tab.
2Make the signature onceChoose Draw or Type. Draw in the box, or type your name and pick Script, Serif or Sans.
3Place it and savePut the signature on each page that needs it, then save the signed PDF.
A placed signature can still be moved or copied out by anyone with a PDF editor. Flatten the signed file before you send it.
Then what
Run the signed file through Flatten so the signature becomes part of the page. If the document has fields to complete, use Fill form first, then sign, then flatten.
