Short, because the service does very little on your behalf.
The service
PocketDocs provides tools that run in your browser. We do not receive, host, or process your documents. You keep full ownership of and responsibility for the files you open and the results you save.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. Document processing can fail or produce unexpected results, particularly with unusual or damaged files. Always keep your original file until you have checked the output. We are not liable for data loss, and given that we never hold your data, we are not in a position to recover it.
Acceptable use
Use these tools only on documents you have the right to use. The Unlock tool requires you to supply the correct password; it does not and will not attempt to bypass, circumvent, or guess protection on a document you cannot already open.
Changes
These terms may change as the product does. The commitment that your documents are processed on your device is the core of the product and will not be quietly reversed.
